Details Matter, But Marrying Your Soulmate Matters More

We didn’t actually get to meet Brian & Zayira until their wedding day, not in person anyway. Skype meetings and phone calls were the norm as they were doing all of their planning from several hundred miles away…but the minute we met each of them, there was no doubt that this was one of “our” couples. The energy that each of them exude is warm and welcoming and kind and generous. They‘re both the kind of people to put everyone else before themselves, and the kind of people other people just want to be around. You know, the best kind of people.
Every wedding has its hiccups. Sometimes things don’t always go as they should. Brian’s wedding day gift from Zayira was a set of beautiful cufflinks – but his shirt didn’t have French cuffs. No worries! The groomsmen to the rescue! One of his groomsmen had the right style shirt. A quick wardrobe change and Brian’s wearing some killer cuffslinks. The flowers were delivered, but they were not what Zayira had ordered. Totally fixable! A huge thank you to Reuben and Blue Elephant for coming to the flower rescue that day!!
Yet, once Zayira walked down the aisle at the Masonic Temple in Portland, ME, every little concern or stress that popped up during the day completely fell away as Brian & Zayira looked into each other’s eyes. Their ceremony was touching and heartfelt! From the moment they saw each other at the ceremony, I don’t think they ever took their eyes off of each other for the rest of the night. Their love for each other is truly unmistakable and they radiate it onto those who are lucky enough to be with them.
Brian & Zayira, we are so happy that you found us and allowed us to capture this amazing day for you. We wish you all the happiness and joy and love in the world.
